Making a shift into the lap of nature from time to time for that soothing environment can go a long way in making reading all the more exciting. You can also try out book-friendly cafes which is a modern-day trend.
Using genres effectively
We have already discussed that trying out new genres can be a game changer. But how do you use the genres that you are already reading in an effective manner? There are certain ways to do it.
Coming to your favourite genre, apart from the time that you have assigned for it, you can even read it when you get bored reading other genres. Once you are refreshed, you can shift back to the other genres.
What about picking up two genres at a time? Well, this may not suit everyone, but if you are fine with it, this can really help in dealing with any type of monotony that might arise.
Also, the genres that require a more focussed approach should be read at that time of the day where you have good concentration levels. This will help you make the most out of that book and also your time.
Joining a book club
In recent times, a lot of book clubs have come up. You too can join a few of them. At a book club, you can not only exchange ideas and perceptions but also get to know about various book recommendations. At a book club, you will definitely grow as a reader.
